This holiday season, we are offering you a unique opportunity to buy a gift in honor of a loved one while providing a much needed gift to those we love in Haiti. There are three different opportunities, one of them being a GARDEN!
Food scarcity in Haiti has reached extreme starvation levels, but this Christmas you can be part of the solution by purchasing a garden kit that will be gifted to a family in the mountains of Haiti. The kit will include plants to grow their own garden of peppers, tomatoes, melon, coconut, and chadek (a citrus fruit similar to a sweet grapefruit) These foods have been proven to grow well in their area and are used for eating, trading and selling in the local markets.
The gift of garden will reap a harvest of filled bellies and better nutrition. Thank you for fighting against severe hunger and malnutrition in Haiti with us! The garden will be distributed by our good friends at Avanti Coffee Co, in the same communities as the coffee farmers.
